Correction Policy

Correction Policy – Tezz Times

At Tezz Times, we deliver accurate, fair, and balanced news. However, if we make a factual error in our reporting, we believe it is our responsibility to correct it transparently and promptly.

1. Reporting an Error

If you believe we have published incorrect information, please notify us immediately by emailing:
[email protected]
Please include the article link, the incorrect information, and (if possible) supporting evidence for the correction.

2. Review Process

Once we receive a correction request:
  • Our editorial team will review the claim thoroughly.
  • We may verify facts from official sources or contact the author for clarification.
  • If the correction is valid, we will make the necessary changes as soon as possible.

3. Types of Corrections

We handle the following correction types:
  • Factual Errors – Incorrect names, figures, dates, quotes, etc.
  • Spelling or Grammar – Minor corrections are made silently unless the error affects the meaning.
  • Misleading Headlines – If a headline misrepresents the story, it will be updated with clarification.

4. Transparency

When a significant correction is made, we will:
  • Clearly mark the correction at the bottom or top of the article with a note like:
“Correction: An earlier version of this article misstated [issue]. It has been corrected on [date].”

5. Article Retraction (If Required)

In rare cases, if the entire article is found to be misleading or based on false information, we may:
  • Retract the article completely
  • Publish a retraction note explaining the reason

6. Opinion Pieces

Opinions expressed by authors or guest contributors are their own. However, if factual errors are found in such articles, we will review and correct them as per our policy.
